How to get started with DeFi?

In order to start getting your hands dirty with DeFi, we will need a few things

that are dependencies to get started. Let us walk through the steps in this section.

1. Get an Ethereum wallet: There are so many wallets these days with

multiple features; however, I still like the simplicity and features of the

Metamask browser extension. You can check the variety of available

wallets at: https://ethereum.org/en/wallets/find-wallet/

2. Make sure to have Chrome/Firefox/Brave/Edge as a browser: Down-

load the Metamask extension on your desktop/laptop. By the way, you

can also download an app for Metamask on your mobile phone. We will

use a browser extension for this demonstration.

3. Create a new wallet: Once you have installed the Metamask exten-

sion, you will be asked to create a new wallet. Go ahead to follow the

instructions on the screen and create a new wallet. Please note that if

you already had a wallet previously, you can also import the old wal-

let as listed within the options below.
